Why should I give you my email?

TL;DR: I write about all things long-term travel and remote work.

I am learning to become a digital nomad without also becoming mad and I want to share my learnings.

Subscribe to be a part of the journey (pun intended), read about minimalistic travel, mindset, psychology, tips and tricks, and whatever else catches my attention as I explore the world as a Remote Hobo™️.

Why are you doing this?

I want to write about a topic that fascinated me my whole life – how to explore the world while feeling at home anywhere and in any situation.

What’s your story?

I was always fascinated by travel.

Even at a young age when somebody asked me what I wanted to do, I didn't have an answer apart from telling them it’s something I can do anywhere.

My AHA moment happened in 2016 when I was hitchhiking solo through Europe.

In 25 days, I covered over six thousand kilometers through nine different states. I dealt with a lot of shit happens situations, slept in the mountains, in streets, and bus stops.

I had deep conversations about everything from religion to processes in agriculture with over a hundred people from many different cultures and backgrounds.

It deeply changed how I view both the world and myself.

I had my startup phase after that, so traveling had to make space for building a company.

A few years later, I was full-time freelance on a startup vacation, but I was still hesitant to leave my comfort zone.

In January 2020 I put my fears under a microscope and weighed the risks versus rewards. The same day, I bought a one-way ticket and started planning a test trip.

In August 2020, I packed my small bag, boarded a plane, and went to live in Tenerife. I spent there four months, fell in love, and got hooked to the Remote Hobo Lifestyle™️.

In 2021, I moved out of my apartment into my backpack, became homeless, and started traveling. I'm writing this from a small cafe in Madrid.

How can I support you, hobo?

You can help by reading what I write and joining a discussion.

You also can comment on any post or DM me on Instagram and tell me what you want to read about.

Sharing a word with both your hobo and non-hobo friends will be highly appreciated!

Thank you!

Why do you hide behind the letter Z?

My real name is Zdeněk, which is too hard to pronounce for most people.

So I save you some tongue-twisting and save myself about twenty hours of explaining every year.

Deal?
